About this site

This site may look like a joke, but it can actually reveal some pretty cool and unexpected stuff in books.
Who would have thought that James Joyce likes animals so much or
that they mostly eat sugar and drink tea in "Dracula"?
(By the way, did you know that "Moby Dick" is about the whale)?
Also beware - this can actually spoil the ending of "The Hound of the Baskervilles".

This is what you need to know about the process:

    • ○ Only public domain books from Project Gutenberg are searchable.
    • ○ Only books in English can be adequately analyzed.
    • ○ Longer books will be truncated to 800,000 characters due to computational limits.
However, this should be enough for all your reading needs (it's roughly one volume of "War and Peace").
    • ○ Geographical location recognizer is pretty poor. It's practically an embarrassment.
    • ○ First lines of books are often nonsense too; they are randomly chosen from those provided by Open Library.
